First, just a brief personal history. Neal's parents brought him to the Valley in 1948 at the age of eight. He is very fond of pointing out to the younger members of our staff.. Yep, I'm seasoned, but still got lots of fire!

Over the years, he has worked locally as a real estate investor (mainly in residential rehabilitation), a mortgage broker and a loan officer. In the early 1980's he was a loan officer for City Federal S&L (the originators of the Adjustable Rate Mortgage) and then founded his own mortgage brokerage firm, Charter Mortgage Investors. In the early 90's he was the leading loan producer for two years running at Home America Mortgage, the sister company to Richmond American Homes. Since then, his work has varied between real estate development, motivational training and mortgage originations. After many years in the mortgage business, Neal retired in 2000.
